I know I shouldn't but after seeing poll answers, about 4chan I'd like to give you an answer:

4chan is an English-language imageboard website. Launched on October 1, 2003, its boards are primarily used for the posting of pictures and discussion of manga and anime. Users generally post anonymously and the site has been linked to Internet subcultures and activism, most notably Project Chanology.

Of course, 4chan evolved and now, especially on /b/(which stands for "random") you can find almost every picture that you want to.
I think noone will be angry, if I say that 4chan is a place, from which we get all the internet memes.
Seaking, Pedobear, Mudkipz, Lolcats etc etc.
Almost everything that counts come from there.

The funniest part of all is, that most of people write anonymously.
That's why they call themselves "Legion" and they have their own poem:
